FlexLogger Rev 1.5 — Update Summary

# Compatibility and rendering stability improvements

Certain PCs experienced graphic instability due to conflicts between development builds and openGL drawing layers. These issues caused tearing, flickering, or rendering delays. The problem has been identified and fixed in Rev 1.5.

FlexLogger Rev 1.4 — Update Summary

  1. Improved real-time graph continuity
Graphs now transition smoothly when adjusting time ranges. Historical logs merge naturally with new live data without gaps.
  2. Enhanced time-range selection buttons
The bottom time-range buttons now include visual indicators, making it easier to see which time window is currently active. Users can also visually confirm the selected range while the graph updates.
  3. New system and legal notice icons added
    New icons were added for:
    • Website
    • Shop
    • Developer Web
    • Copyright & Notices
These icons now appear in the software's main toolbar and are linked to relevant pages.
  4. Custom Range input added
Users can now manually type a custom graph range value. Values are applied instantly to the chart.
  5. Updated graph background
The selected manufacturer logo is now applied to the chart background with reduced opacity to avoid visual clutter.

FlexLogger Rev 1.3 — Update Summary

  1. Snapshot image scaling improved
  2. Graph autoscaling updated
  3. Fixed an issue where default scale ranges were not displayed correctly on some sensors. Autoscaled graphs now display uniformly across all supported devices.

FlexLogger Rev 1.1 — Update Summary

  1. Lower log panel cleaned Although logs were cleared, graph residue remained in earlier versions. This has been corrected.
  2. Graph Y-axis refined
The Y-axis scale and positions have been aligned for clearer presentation.
  3. Graph color adjustments
Line and curve colors have been optimized for better readability.

FlexLogger Rev 1.0 — Update Summary

FlexLogger is a standalone log collection program developed for monitoring sensor and serial device output. It provides a convenient environment for real-time viewing, saving, and managing serial-based data.

Overview

FlexLogger is a portable (no-install) application designed for capturing sensor and serial device data. Logs can be recorded, saved, and processed automatically, and each session is stored in structured directories for easy management.

Key Features

  • Automatic COM port detection — Quickly connect/disconnect devices.
  • Real-time dual-value output — Displays Raw/Corrected sensor values.
  • Automatic file separation — Session-based file creation.
  • Recording management — Separate logs when stopping/starting a session.
  • Version check & updates — Compares local version with server version.

Data Logging

Folder Structure

Record/
 └── YYYY-MM/
      └── DD/
           └── HH-mm-ss_DeviceName.txt
  • Older logs are automatically cleaned based on internal rules.
  • New files are created when the device reconnects or the logging session restarts.

User Interface Layout

  • Top Menu — Connection status, device selection, version display.
  • Central Graph & Log Area — Real-time data display.
  • Bottom Controls — Start/stop recording, folder open, file open.
  • Popup Alerts — Error, warnings, and status notifications appear as modal dialogs.

Notes & Warnings

  • FlexLogger is for Windows environments only.
  • Some functions (e.g., updates) require internet connectivity.
  • Log files are generated continuously; storage management may be needed.
  • Do not force-close the application during an update, as files may become damaged.
